Juli Tagger is a director, writer, and producer specialized in immersive animation and character-driven storytelling, with 20 years of experience in international production and sales.
Her fulldome films Solarians and Subaru Sisters premiered in Japan, received awards including the Grand Prix, and were screened at festivals worldwide. Her earlier short film Caso 100 won international recognition during the pandemic, while her work has also been presented at Pictoplasma, the world’s leading festival for character design and art.
She founded and teaches the Immersive Animation Workshop at the Universidad del Cine and serves as a mentor for Women in Animation.
Juli’s recent projects include serving as Production Supervisor on a short for Pokémon Japan and Creative Director on a confidential project for an Asian video game company.
She is currently planning to relocate to Tokyo.
